A 17,000-kilometer journey through 21 countries across Europe and Africa. Each stage brings its own challenges, all driven by a single goal: giving children with heart defects a fighting chance.
The journey begins in the Netherlands. The first leg heads southbound across Europe, preparing rider and machine for the crossing to the African continent.
The core of the expedition: traveling across the African continent through changing climates, desert tracks, vast savannas, and remote border crossings.
The final stretch towards the southern tip of Africa, completing 17,000 kilometers to raise €500,000 for children fighting heart defects.

Congenital heart disease remains the number one cause of death among children under the age of fifteen in the Netherlands. Hartekind Foundation is the only non-profit foundation solely dedicated to funding scientific research into pediatric heart disease. Ride With Your Heart travels 17,000 kilometers across Africa to raise €500,000 in support of this urgent life-saving mission.
